In the true spirit of family planning, CedarCoast helped this family plan their getaway their way... building the exterior and leaving the interior to the owners to finish as they please.

At 1,300 square feet on a single level with an open concept Great Room, this is a perfect interpretation of easy family living. The cottage features three bedrooms, a full bath, powder room, and the comfy addition of a screened in porch.

Both partners and brothers, Patrick and Bert Bongers contributed to the 2021 Spring Cottage Life Virtual Show, when they answered many questions from prospective cottagers. They do this in a friendly, back and forth fashion, that as customers say, "They're not like other builders." See the videos!

Each design is unique. Building across waters, blasting rock, and the complexities of constructing dream cottages the 'right way', are trademarks of the company they created over 30 years ago.

Bert loves to help prospective buyers pick the perfect site. 'Which is your favourite view?' he asks. Then, situating the home to showcase that vision - the view you fell in love with - becomes a labour of love.

This elegant, double sliding door, with its peaked view, is a lovely designer's detail. It's just one small example of the result of careful planning, gently going over every design decision with the purchaser, and later on, keeping families up to date with every development of their project.
