LAKE VERNON

Delightfully cozy, lakeside family retreat on Lake Vernon, west of Huntsville, Ontario. Extended views of the lake along windows from living, dining areas continue to the Muskoka room and out to the expansive elevated deck. A full house at six bedrooms means 'welcome' to the entire family. Expansive kitchen and adjacent pantry, 2 main floor bedrooms, all under vaulted ceilings, make this an extremely livable cottage for guests and family alike.

RILEY LAKE COTTAGE

 Simple. Relaxing. Family-focused.

Nestled amongst Muskoka’s tall pines and granite shores the design objective was one of unification with this natural setting. These were the words that the owners used to describe the kind of cottage they wanted. It certainly turned out to be a ‘put-your-feet-up’ kind of atmosphere with low-maintenance finishes and several nooks and spaces to retreat to for quiet time. Heated concrete floors throughout provide warmth with glazing decisively positioned to capture natural light reflecting on modern wood finishes.

PAINT LAKE

Spacious, custom, contemporary cottage on Paint Lake, near Lake of Bays, Ontario. Eclectic mix of traditional elements with modern touches like the glass enclosed horizontal fireplace and designer kitchen with side pantry in the open concept great room make this family home one of a kind. Traditional wood craftsmanship and exterior finishes of stone, shingles, siding and beams on a wide wooded lot contribute to the relaxed, 'everyone is welcome' atmosphere.

SHANTY BAY

Classic contemporary custom cottage features CedarCoast signature timber elements in a very clean and modern interior. Main floor master bedroom suite. Four additional bedrooms, two bathrooms and a butlers pantry on the ground floor to accommodate multiple generations of the family. Western Red Cedar exterior siding.

SIX MILE LAKE

Custom, traditional Muskoka cottage with expansive views of the lake and boat slip. Unique angled porch and extensive decking accentuate the rough and tumbling rockside location. Inside, the traditional look and feel starts with a ceiling high stone fireplace, combined kitchen and dining rooms, all accentuated with unique accents and cozy details. Of course, our CedarCoast traditional wood craftsmanship is evident throughout!

AT SPARROW LAKE ONE

Partner Patrick Bongers shows exterior views of this beautiful custom timber home with granite and log finishes on Sparrow Lake, Ontario. All BC and Douglas Fir. Deck and porch area is a tile floor, with log stairs and log railings. Hand hammered copper dome caps on the deck posts and base bands have been added to all the structural log posts. Very solid home has been built with ICF from the basement to the peak. Incredible southwestern view!

AT SPARROW LAKE TWO

This is the second of two video visits with Patrick Bongers at this stunning home. It's perched on granite coming right up from the lake. Granite is incorporated for use on the post bases and on the walls throughout the decks, porches and walls.
