CedarCoast Timber Homes specializes in creating custom designed timber frame homes, log homes, log cabins, cedar homes and post and beam homes for residences, vacation homes, chalets, and cottages. Our services include guidance and turnkey services in design, materials selection, engineering and construction. Our commercial buildings include lodges – log or timber frame ski lodges, resort and resort lodges – as well as gold course club house, water ski club houses and parks, ski chalets, cabins, pergola’s, and other recreational and resort buildings designed in log, Post & beam or timber frame joinery.

We have supplied and built our custom designed log homes, timber frame homes and post & beam homes in many geographical regions including Muskoka, Georgian Bay, Haliburton, the Kawartha’s, and in many other parts of Ontario, Canada. We also design and supplied our custom-designed homes to the United States, including Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Michigan and other U.S. States. Many regions that are popular in the U.S. are the Hamptons, the Adirondacks and the Hudson Valley.
CedarCoast has built chalet in Tremblant, Quebec, Post & Beam residences in the Eastern Townships and Log Homes in other picturesque regions of Quebec. Add to this our experience in England, Ireland and France. We even manufactured the homes we exported to Europe.
Log and timber frame homes have been a heritage of the Canadian landscape since confederation. From the True North of Canada’s cottage country to the discovery of the Rocky Mountains, the technology and precision of these structures have developed over the decades into what we know as some of the most beautiful luxury homes being constructed.
Some of our clients want the look of Pan-Abode style log homes. Pan-Abode log homes are an older style that was popular in the 60’s and 70’s but now are used mainly for small camps and seasonal cottages in Ontario on islands. Our construction company has built Pan-Abode additions in the past and we also have a matching profile of log that is thicker than Pan-Abode’s 3 ½” log and more suitable for year-round use. We can maintain the Pan-Abode log shape or we can mill a D-Log or round log.
Environmental efficiency is a prime concern at CedarCoast Timber Homes. We strive to incorporate green technologies, alternative energy systems, including solar and wind power, passive solar and other environmental technologies. Our construction company has built R2000 homes and has incorporated Energy Star products into our timber frame homes, post & beam homes and log homes. We have also used SIP panels when the customer demands it.
