Truss Delivery & Deck Framing on Lake Muskoka
This Lake Muskoka project is part of CedarCoast’s “How Do We Do It?” series, showcasing real cottage construction progress from foundation to finish.
Hi, it’s Pat again from CedarCoast Homes, out here on Lake Muskoka.
At this stage of the project, we’re moving into an exciting phase of construction with
roof trusses being delivered and
deck framing getting underway.
Trusses Arrive On Site
Today, our roof trusses are being delivered, marking a major milestone in the build. Once trusses arrive, the overall shape of the cottage really starts to take form. We’d like to thank Home Building Centre in Gravenhurst for supplying the trusses for this project.
Coordinating deliveries like this is an important part of keeping a Muskoka build running smoothly - especially when access, timing, and weather all play a role.
Deck Framing in Cold Weather Conditions
From truss delivery to deck framing, each phase of construction builds momentum toward the finished cottage. These are the days when a project really starts to feel tangible, as structure and outdoor living spaces come together.
This is how we do it - carefully planned, well coordinated, and always moving forward.
Thanks for watching, and we’ll continue to share updates as this Lake Muskoka project progresses.
