Hi, it’s Pat again from CedarCoast Homes, out here on Lake Muskoka, where we’ve reached the next important phase of this cottage build.
Delivering the Trusses is a Major Milestone
Roof trusses define the shape of the cottage and allow us to move efficiently from wall framing to the roof structure. Once trusses are on site and set, the building really starts to come together.
A big thank you to Home Building Centre in Gravenhurst for supplying and coordinating the truss delivery. Having dependable local partners is critical on Muskoka projects, where timing, logistics, and site access all play an important role.
Along with the truss delivery, we’re also framing decks today. Even though it’s a cold day, the weather is dry - which makes it an ideal day to work outside and keep momentum on the site.
