In this How Does It Look? feature, Pat and Ryan walk through a recent deck extension designed to accommodate a new hot tub on Camel Lake.
With the frost out of the ground, work is underway to properly prepare the site and extend the existing deck. The goal was to integrate the hot tub seamlessly into the outdoor living space while maintaining safety, comfort, and terrific lakeside views.
Thoughtful Design for Easy Access
The new design includes a small set of stairs and a landing extension off the deck. From this landing, users will step directly into the hot tub at the same height - no awkward climbs or deep steps. This creates a smooth, natural transition in and out of the tub.
A solid handrail integrated into the post provides a strong, secure grip, making entry and exit safe and comfortable for all ages.
Built for the Setting
Once complete, the hot tub will offer stunning views across Camel Lake, making it a perfect spot to relax year-round. When warmer weather arrives and the hot tub is installed, we’ll be back to share the finished result.
