Handscribed Log HomeThe coping of logs is quite an art and guarantees that your home will be unique. We even invite people to see the final touches being put on their logs. It’s always impressive seeing how archways can be curved.

The loft floor beams, roof beams, and porch posts and beams are hand-peeled and scribe-fit. Post & beam connections are done with mortise and tenon joinery, which adds strength as well as beauty to your log home.

Our handcrafted log homes are made with your choice of Western Red Cedar or West Coast Douglas fir , with an average diameter of 12 inches. Western cedar and Douglas f ir are among the most resilient and resistant species in the world. Because of the consistent length of our logs, we guarantee there will be no butt-joints; all logs are full length.

Once all of the fitting and assembly is complete and the log ends are curved and finished, the next stage is drilling for electrical wiring. The logs are then disassembled and loaded on trucks together with the rest of your complete materials package for shipment to your site. Re-assembly of all logs and post and beam work only takes two or three days!
