Can I incorporate solar energy into my plans for a log or timber frame home?

Solar can be built into pretty much any design. It is just a matter of mounting the solar panels where they need to go. The new way to mount solar panels is not on the house at all though. They are mounted on a tall pole where they automatically turn to always face the sun.
